House of Paws Retreat was created from a belief that dogs deserve more than busy, overstimulating environments. We offer a peaceful home where dogs can rest, play and settle naturally — without the stress of large groups or kennel routines.
Every stay is built around calm socialisation, familiar routines, countryside walks and cosy rest — a home-from-home where your dog can truly relax, whether for a day or a longer stay.

I've had dogs for as long as I can remember, and over the years developed a strong understanding of different temperaments and the importance of helping dogs feel settled and secure.
At the heart of the retreat is Baxter, our friendly young Show Cocker Spaniel. Every introduction is managed slowly and carefully so each guest has the space and time they need — Baxter especially loves fetch, hide and seek, and countryside adventures at Grassmoor Country Park.
My partner Matt helps with walks, playtime and giving dogs even more attention throughout their stay. Together, we've created a peaceful home where dogs can enjoy cosy rest, outdoor adventures and the freedom to relax naturally.
